MMPES’s safety, health and environment (SHE) policy and practices centre around a zero-harm philosophy towards people, host communities and the environment.
Our approach to safety and wellbeing is a holistic one, with an equal focus on emotional and physical harm. We consider the duty of care we have to our people, as well as to our clients and partners. Our safeguarding and modern slavery experts ensure the same standards are applied to our supply chains and the communities in which we work.
We positively influence safety and wellbeing standards through our engineers, general workers and management. We work closely with our equality, diversity, and inclusion team so that all our programmes support people from all backgrounds. We are approaching our target of zero harm on physical accidents that affect our people and projects. At the same time,
we are becoming increasingly concerned about the rise in mental health and wellbeing issues facing our people. So we took this opportunity to look back at our journey in its entirety to celebrate our achievements but, more importantly, to reflect on ways to continually improve our workplace safety and wellbeing.
